PHILL NIBLOCK
This page pays tribute to Phill Niblock (October 2, 1933 – January 8, 2024), a trailblazing artist, experimental composer, filmmaker, and photographer.

CYFEST
CYFEST is a nomadic international media art festival. It's primary mission is to examine the dialogue between various visual languages and technology cultures, and thus to explore a way of commoning with both art professionals and scientific communities.

MADE IN CYLAND
Made in CYLAND is an online portal and ever-growing catalog of media art works created in collaboration with our engineers over the past 16 years.

VIDEO ARCHIVE
The CYLAND Video Archive is a platform for studying and presenting contemporary video art. Launched in 2008, it provides access to 600+ original video works by 100+ international artists and art groups.

AUDIO ARCHIVE
The CYLAND Audio Archive (CAA) is a division of CYLAND MediaArtLab, created to investigate archiving and exhibiting methodologies of sound art. To date, there are 59 releases, including works by more than 80 artists.

EXHIBITS
In addition to our main project, CYFEST, CYLAND organizes exhibitions. We support projects between artists and international cultural and academic institutions, co-cultivating new curation and programmed shows.

LASERs
Leonardo/ISAST LASER Talks is a program of international gatherings that bring artists, scientists, humanists and technologists together for informal presentations, performances and conversations with the wider public.
