Five Years of CYLAND LASER Talks

For five years, CYLAND LASER Talks has been a meeting point for artists, scientists, humanists, and technologists to share ideas, experiments, and emerging research. As the official Leonardo/ISAST LASER representative since 2020, CYLAND is part of a global network that now spans more than fifty cities across five continents. In addition to hosting LASER Talks CYLAND6 we also support LASER initiatives in Brussels and Jerusalem

Each CYLAND LASER session brings together practitioners working across art, physics, ecology, artificial intelligence, cognitive studies, and other fields. Speakers present their work in concise formats, followed by open conversations that invite the public into a shared process of thinking, questioning, and discovery.

Rather than seeking fixed answers, CYLAND LASER Talks cultivate curiosity. By placing different disciplines in dialogue, the series creates space for new perspectives on technology, culture, and the ways we understand the world — building a community where diverse forms of knowledge can meet, interact, and evolve.
